I just finished my 2 days off for Thankksgiving! It went waaaay to fast. We had a Pharmacology test on Wednesday and I studied soooo hard for it. Then of course I got the test and froze up. I worry so much about the things and then forget everything when its time to recall it. We will see Wednesday how I did. On monday I had my teaching project. I taught them how to make Peppermint bark and they LOVED it! Especially Mrs. B. since she hates to cook@ So I got a 100 on that. I also got my grade back for my case study. I got an 88. That's not bad for the first try but I really wish I had gotten an A. And I would have but I just forgot to fill out 1 little section. I guess I just skipped over it.
I had a great Thanksgiving though. Thursday we went to his parents house and ate with the family. I then had to go to work at 3 which kinda stunk, but oh well. Today (friday) we went to my parents house. I always enjoy that because I can relax alot easier. We were able to take a nap and then we helped my mom decorate her tree! That was nice! And i was expecially excited that I got to see Jeffery! I always miss him.
So tomorrow I go back to work and its back to doing nothing but studying. My first tests of the next 3 weeks start Thursday. I have 1 friday, then monday and 2 on wednesday. and then get a very tiny break of a lab and check off on next thursday and friday. Then back to more tests! Its crazy! I only have 1 more class day and then nothing but tests! We will see how all of this goes and I will continue praying that I pass Level 1!

Almost Thanksgiving break!
So I have made it through 3 weeks of clinicals. I am loving the paperwork part of it all. I picked a great resident at the Nursing home for my 1st Case study but am learning quickly that I don't completely understand how to do this case study and it's due on Tuesday. But I'm sure i'll figure it out. I have Mrs. B as a clinical instructor. She is AWESOME! I'm loving it! I only hope I get someone thhis great for my next 2 semesters!
I am NOT doing well in Pharmacology however. I have a 72 in the class. I'm hoping I can pull it up. I am also worried about the HESI test in this class. I'm wondering if it will fail me or bring the grade up.
It is almost time for Thanksgiving! Yay! 2 extra days off....except I will pretty much be working the entire time....yippee. I really need a new job. Or none at all. That would be nice to. Nursing School is a full time job. I just wish I got paid instead of having to pay to do it! haha. Yeah right. I am just sooooo ready for Christmas!!!! Yay!!!!!
So the next month and a half will be crazy! nothing but holidays and TESTS! I will be so sick of tests by the time I'm done with this! I'm hpoing we will be able to afford for me to get a massage! That would be a wonderful ending to my first semester of Nrsing school!=)
